You need to go step by step it’s so confusing cause of the depth perception

The lanterns will melt the extra snow off, so you could instead use soul lanterns, because they don't melt snow :)

I must be the worst Minecraft player alive. I have never once completed a tutorial and it come out the same. My buildings are two blocks apart. So the roof thing and chimney section you begin, is completely out of line from mine. So that means I did everything up to that point completely wrong. even though I checked 500 times ahead of time and even rebuilt an area where I messed up. Yet I'm still off. And this is why I also failed math in school ...I did everything right and it's still wrong. I hate Minecraft🤬
